The Saddle Tree...  

We start each saddle by assembling various wood component parts, which are glued and screwed together and then covered with wet rawhide that is sewed tightly over the components.

As the rawhide dries, it shrinks, forming a viselike covering. The combination of dry rawhide and tree parts makes an extremely durable rigid frame. Rawhide-covered wooden trees, while extremely strong have a certain amount of flexibility, which allows them to conform somewhat to the horses outline.

 

 

 

The Saddle tree warranty ..... Each saddle tree comes with a 5-year limited warranty to be free of original defects, in material and workmanship in normal use from the date of purchase in the continental United States. This warranty is expressly limited to the repair or replacement of the saddle tree and Double C Saddlery shall not be responsible for any consequential damage or loss occasioned by the use of its products. This warranty is void if the saddle is used in a commercial or rental application. Please contact our Customer Service Center prior to any return or warranty service.
